Elliptical head:

Elliptical head (also called hemispherical tank heads or hemispherical dish ends) is widely applied to make pressure tanks to storage liquids and gases. The hemispherical head is often made with carbon steel, stainless steel, austenitic and non ferritic metals that can be cold worked. Hemispherical is the ideal shape for development of hemispherical dish end, because the pressure in the vessel is divided equally across the surface of the head. The radius (Ri) of the head equals the radius of the cylindrical part of the vessel. This type of hemispherical tank heads or hemispherical dish ends are made in most popular sizes and thicknesses.

Standard Elliptical Shape:
A standard elliptical head (2:1 ellipse) is typically used. This streamlined design provides excellent stress distribution, evenly dispersing stresses generated by stirring and internal pressure, avoiding stress concentration at right angles, and significantly improving the pressure fatigue life and safety of the equipment.

Integrated Design with No Dead Corners:

The head and vessel body are joined using precision welding technology. The internal weld seams are ground and polished to ensure a smooth transition with the inside of the vessel, forming a complete, spherical cavity without any sanitary dead corners. This facilitates complete material discharge and meets the strict cleaning and sanitation (CIP/SIP) requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Observation Sight Glass/Light: A sanitary quick-opening sight glass with a spotlight for real-time observation of the material mixing state inside the vessel.
