Manufacturing Process

Our elliptical dish head manufacturing process is controlled from raw material preparation to final inspection.

1. Raw Material Preparation
Metal plates are selected according to the specified material grade, thickness and technical requirements.

2. Cutting
The plate is cut to the required blank size according to the head diameter, thickness and forming requirements.

3. Forming
The prepared metal blank is formed into the required elliptical profile using suitable forming equipment.
Depending on material, dimensions and thickness, hot forming or cold forming can be used.

4. Heat Treatment
Heat treatment can be performed when required by the material, manufacturing standard or customer specification.

5. Trimming
The formed head is trimmed to the specified finished diameter and required dimensional tolerance.

6. Edge Preparation
The edge can be machined or beveled according to the customer's welding and assembly requirements.

7. Surface Treatment
Different surface treatments can be provided depending on the material and application, including:
Sandblasting
Shot blasting
Pickling
Polishing
Other specified treatments
8. Inspection

Finished heads are inspected for dimensions, appearance and other specified quality requirements before shipment.
